mono-xsp2-base software package provides base libraries for XSP 2.0, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mono-xsp2-base
mono-xsp2-base is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mono-xsp2-base package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mono-xsp2-base *
You will get with mono-xsp2-base package name, version, architecture and description in a table
